Language Direct was formed in 2004 by quad-national Harvard University Class of '99 dropout Cillín Perera [kiliːn pɜr'ɛərə] to meet the needs of a German businessman who had trouble finding a French teacher to visit his company in the Black Forest, Germany. In a short time, Language Direct has grown from these humble beginnings to become a truly multinational service provider, currently offering from our Swiss base more than 40 languages across 6 continents, with service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to any internet connection or fixed line telephone on the globe.

Language Direct currently has a number of high-profile marketing partnerships and provides tailor-made language training services to companies across the full spectrum of industry.

The bulk of our Language Direct technology has been developed in-house, and we have patents pending on our unique innovations.
