Etihad Airways


Language Direct was initially approached by Etihad Airways in 2007 to help solve a problem with the implementation of an existing website translation into German, French and Dutch.

Like many of our clients, Etihad Airways had done a basic translation in-house before realizing the need for a professional translation services provider to solve problems including technical upload, identification and resyncronization of superseeded translations and provision of ongoing maintenance.

Language Direct not only successfully implemented these initial sites to schedule but has subsequently gone on to launch new sites for Etihad in Chinese, Russian, Japanese, Italian and Korean.

Language Direct has also developed and implemented tailor made solutions to fit Etihad's exact maintenance requirements. These include a full implementation of the Language Direct Babilu™ system, for which Etihad Airways was the launch customer.

Language Direct currently provides Etihad with a fully integrated, 24 hour maintenance service into the 7 current site languages, and a new language turnaround service of 4-6 weeks for new sites.
